The following is notified for reopening University campus:

1) Students and Research Scholars are hereby advised to register their status of Covid 19 vaccination in the online form at: https://bit.ly/30dxrYJ. No student will be allowed to attend physical classes without registering their vaccination status in the online form.

2) Students who have not been vaccinated so far, may avail vaccination at our associated Hospital - Techno Global Hospital, Salt Lake, IB 175, IB Block, Sector III, Bidhannagar, Kolkata, West Bengal 700106. 3) Students may register their hostel accommodation request by filling up the online form at https://bit.ly/3n61ACh. The online hostel accommodation request form will be available online till November 27, 2021. Separate Boys' & Girls' hostels for students of SNU will be run, operated, maintained & managed by authorised vendor - M/s Sandree Homes Services Pvt. Ltd.. Students are requested to fill up the form for hostel requisition and choose their room type & meal preference. The details of the form will be shared with the authorised vendor and hostel fee as per the chosen room type & meal preference will be collected by the authorised vendor. 5) Offline Classes for final year students of UG (4th year B.Tech, 3rd year in BA, B.Sc., B.Com, BCA) and all PG 2nd year will start from 22-11-2021.

6) For all other programs except GNM, B.Sc (Nursing) and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, the online classes in all UG & PG programs shall continue till further notice. Students of some of the programs may be called for practical classes, as would be notified by the respective departments.

7) Students admitted in the session 2020 and 2021 (2nd year and 1st year) will be called in the University in batches for official purposes like registration, distribution of ID Cards, library card, dress etc. This will be separately notified through the departments.

8) Students may access the library which will be open during regular library hours.

The due date for payment of fees for 2 nd year (3 rd Semester), 3 rd year (5 th Semester) and 4th year (7th Semester) for all UG & PG students (except annual scheme like D.Pharm, B.Sc (Nursing) & GNM) is September 28, 2021 without late fine. After September 28, 2021 i.e on and from September 29 till October 5, 2021 a late fee of Rs.100/- per day will be applicable on a cumulative basis.
Modes of Payment of Fees: The University accepts any of these following modes of payment of fees only:

(a) Online payment: Student can login through the University’s website www.snuniv.ac.in to pay online through credit card, debit card, internet banking, e-wallets, Unified Payments Interface (UPI) etc.

1) Login with your username ( <Student ID>@snuindia.in) & password ( Default password is Student ID itself if not logged in earlier and changed)
2) Click on Fee Icon and then press “Pay Fee Online” button.

(b) Demand Draft: A demand draft drawn in favour of SISTER NIVEDITA UNIVERSITY from any scheduled bank in India as per RBI guidelines, payable at Kolkata to be submitted at the office of the CFO within due dates as mentioned above.

NOTICE

For us at SNU, safety and wellbeing of our students and Members of Staff are of utmost importance. As Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organisation (WHO), we are all geared to face the challenging times. We seek the support of all concerned.

1.    In the interest of students, all face to face Classroom Activities at the Campus are ‘Called Off’ with effect from Monday, 16th March, 2020 up to 31st March 2020 as a precautionary measure.

2.      In view of the above, all are hereby requested to use virtual learning platform along with Online Classes from next week so that there is minimum academic loss to the Students. Details regarding the procedure and schedule of online classes will be guided by the Director / Dean / Heads of the Departments of the University/TIG Skill Academy.

3.      All Faculty and Staff Members of SNU will continue to observe the normal working hours till further notice and all other activities related to Admission, Fees Collection, Administration, projects and Maintenance related work will continue as per work schedule of the Institute. Use of Biometric devices will not be required. Hand sanitizers would be made available for all (including visitors) at strategic points.

4.      All the University’s hostel, have to be vacated  from the forenoon of 15th March 2020  till further instructions & all other activities pertaining to residential students at the Campus are ‘Called Off’ with effect from Monday, the 16th March 2020 up to 31st March, 2020 as a precautionary measure.

This is for information to all students of UG and PG that the University expects all students and scholars to attend 100% of the total contact sessions which include lecture, tutorial and practical classes along with attending other academic and extra-academic programs and timely submission of assignments, projects etc. However, a shortfall of not more than 25% of the total contact sessions may be  condoned  if the shortfall is caused by valid reasons beyond the student's control and supported by appropriate evidence, such as personal illness or death in the family, or any other issue as may be deemed fit to be a reason for such condoning by the competent authority of the University. No student shall be allowed to sit for end-semester assessments for both theory and practical if the shortfall is beyond 25%.
